Skiing 2018
On 17 and 18 February, the annual skiing of the residence took place. We left on Friday in different cars, and we accommodated in the hostel of Vall de Tossa. On Saturday we went skiing to La Masella, and on Sunday, to La Molina. This year, some of those who learned to ski for the first time in the last edition returned to the ski slopes as if they had skied all their lives. Bernardo, a resident from Mexico, was skiing and going to the snow for the first time in his life. When it started to snow, he hallucinated. Some of the expert skiers organized themselves by turns to teach him how to ski. The planning for the two days was having breakfast early to take advantage of the day until the closing of the slopes, and having a snack-dinner in the hostel at 6 o’clock in the afternoon. On Saturday we also went to visit Puigcerdà, and at night we went up to the bowling alley of La Molina to have some drinks and play some bowling. We couldn’t avoid the traffic jams when we came and when we left, but with patience, music, and good company, the trips became very enjoyable. The skiing, likewise, is a plan that always triumphs because of the great people you get to ski with, and this time, in addition, the weather was on our side too. All the slopes were open, even those black ones that are normally closed for lack of snow.
