At 8:30 p.m. the administration from the residence called us to ask if we could bring the battery to the dining room. They were decorating it for the Welcome Party to the new residents. The theme of this year’s dinner was the typical music club in the suburbs of New York. At dinner there were burgers to take in tappers, chips, sauces of all colors, pork ribs … After dinner, the traditional festival of the ‘Queen of the Night’ was held, where first year residents have to dance over of a stage by groups, and the public saves by applause who deserves moving to the next round.

To the beat of hit songs such as “Mi gente” or reggaeton classics like “Gasolina”, the dancers contorted in the most striking ways to be the Queen of the Night. This year the crown was taken by Narcís Viñolas, who won the sympathy of everyone with his hand movements in contratempo and his accelerated pelvic turns.
